Crouched around the TV in the dark, flying through the decaying rubble of Corneria for the first time, I was blown away by the action. We must have played that first level at least 20 times. And that moment that Falco calls out for help, “<em>I could use some help here Fox!</em>”, I would lean forward every time as I boosted to try to save him.</p> <p>It’s such a simple part of the game, Superman Unbound!</strong></p> <p>Coming into this movie I knew I probably wasn’t going to be disappointed. DC has such a great track record for their animated films. Did you see the The Dark Knight Returns Part 2? That movie was awesooooome. Anyway, I’m probably a bigger Batman fan than Superman, but Supes and Supergirl are pretty high up there on my list. Just keep that in mind as I begin to rant on what I thought of the film…</p> <p><strong>SPOILERS AHEAD</strong></p> <p>The first thing I want to point is that I’m tired of the way Supergirl is portrayed in these movies. There like all origin stories for her. In Batman/Superman Apokalypse she first came to Earth, and in this one I’m assuming she’s only been there for a couple of months as she is still not use to things. I was hoping they’d pick a later time so they don’t have to deal with the whole Supergirl feels out of place thing. IT GETS KIND OF OLD! Next I want to address the way Supes beat Braniac. That was like the most anticlimactic battle in the world. They basically made Braniac a world destroying Hikkomori. Man Braniac is suppose to be more dangerous than that! </p> <p><span>My favorite aspect of the movie would be the portrayal of the relationship Lois and Clark has. They were made for each other and this movie just shows how much depth Lois adds to Superman’s character. I’m not down with the whole NEW 52 Wonder Woman and Superman thing going on (is that still going on? I haven’t been keeping up lol). Wonder Woman adds nothing to Superman.
